You are looking west at the dominant peaks above Bishop, CA. in the Eastern Sierra. The green space behind our home is owned by the LA Department of Water & Power which leases the land to ranchers for cattle grazing. So you'll see cows from time to time in the images! The cam updates every 30 secs. My hope is to provide a link to the Eastern Sierra to those who don't live here so you can check in and get a sense of what's going on up here.
Bishop is located in the heart of the Eastern Sierra and provides access to many outdoor recreational pursuits. Great hiking and fishing can be found up Bishop Creek Canyon via highway 168 just west of town. Lake Sabrina and North Lake are two popular destinations off the North Fork of Bishop Creek. South Lake, on the South Fork side of Bishop Creek, provides access to the popular Bishop Pass Trailhead.
I hope you enjoy the cam!
